An intimate film portrait and exploration made in collaboration with author and publisher Elte Rauch as she works towards her third novel, forthcoming from Cossee. Elte's life and work flow across seas and between territories, dreams, and memory. Guided by intuition and shaped by her mixed Dutch-Indonesian heritage, she explores belonging, creativity, and colonial history — revealing how writing, like water, is a balance of movement and calm.
